With ½ million IG followers and over 15 years of radio experience under her belt, her acclaim and reach continues to grow.
Her quick-witted and in-your-face interviews have over 10 million views on YouTube, making Nessa the new go-to for exclusives with today’s biggest names, including Mariah Carey, Drake, Cardi B, Zendaya, and Steve Madden. For her work hosting Talk Stoop with Nessa, in 2019 she was nominated for New York Emmy nomination.
In 2012, she became a full-fledged member of the MTV family through her work on Girl Code, The Real World, Teen Mom, TRL Late Night, and Snooki & J Woww’s after-shows.
As a respected community advocate and mentor, Nessa is known for her youth empowerment work and women’s health advocacy. In 2016, she and her partner, Colin Kaepernick, founded Know Your Rights Camp, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities. She started the Nessa On Air Scholarship Program in 2017, which she fully funds to help young girls get ready for college.
She and Kaepernick are also co-founders of Ra Vision Media, a multidisciplinary media company that showcases the work of Black and Brown directors, producers, creators, and storytellers.
