If you won a $559 million lottery, would you want people to know? Well apparently the newest Powerball winner doesn’t want people to know. However, according to New Hampshire’s laws, she can’t be anonymous and has to have her name in public records. Apparently she is trying to have them assign it to her trust, but she already signed the back of the ticket. She is a community leader and wants to stay in the community, so she is trying to remain anonymous. This is the eighth largest lottery prize in US history.
