A$AP Ferg stepped up to Hot 97 along with some brand new music, to discuss his upcoming album and more with Nessa.
His album, Always Strive & Prosper is scheduled to be released in 2016 and have features from Missy Elliott, Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Rick Ross, Schoolboy Q, and Future who is on the first single “New Level.”
He also spoke about how he’s looking to carry Yams legacy after his tragic passing with a brand new ADIDAS collaboration.
Ferg also spoke about what he thought was the problem with competition in hip hop these days.
“I think the internet makes people more pu***,” he said. “I think nobody wants to compete against each other. I think nobody wants to have interaction anymore. Guys dont even walk up to girls anymore. They see her in the street and be like ‘I have to get her Instagram.'”
