Angela Simmons and Romeo sat down with Nessa excited to tell the world about their brand new reality show.
The two personalities, and children of “iconic figures” spoke about having to work hard because of the families they grew up in.
“People do feel that everything is given to myself,” Simmons said. “Yes, I have this wonderful family background. I come from this awesome family name. But it does not get me through life.”
They also spoke about their separate careers as their both working on some big things in the future. Simmons is working on her fashion designing/philanthropy work. While Romeo has an album in the works, he also has a couple movies on the way, and a brand new clothing line called Rome Everything.
As for Romeo’s divorce, he spoke about his experience going through the trouble.
“I just want to let kids know,” he said. “You’re not alone. You never know what the person next to you is going through so always be kind.”
Simmons also gave her reaction on being named in Yo Gotti’s “Down In The DM.”
They are both featured on the show Growing Up Hip Hop which premieres January 7 on WE TV.
